       If you're looking for purely cremation without a funeral service, sometimes called a "Direct Cremation", then the "Penyghent"
option is ideal.  See the box below for what's included and why we're    the first choice for many families.

Beware "Call Centre Cremations" as advertised on TV.

For a traditional bespoke funeral see the "Ingleborough" option.

The "Whernside" option is classed as a "simple" funeral.

PENYGHENT INCLUDES:

  • Collection of the body within a 20 mile radius. No extra charge for out of hours.

  • Meeting you in your own home to make the arrangements at a time convenient to you.

  • Cremation fees.

  • Completing the required paperwork.

  • Care of the body until cremation.  

  • Viewing the deceased if required.

  • A Teesdale oak effect coffin. (See coffins page)

  • Taking the body to a local crematorium, (NOT a National Centre) for a respectful cremation (No service).

  • Returning the ashes in a simple crematorium container.
